SHIPPING
Orders received after 3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time Monday through Friday will generally be shipped on the next day.
Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands will be sent via U.S. Postal Service's Priority Mail. You will be charged the actual shipping charge plus insurance. The minimum charge is $9.50. We do not guarantee delivery times to these areas.
All military deliveries (APO and FPO addresses) will be shipped by U.S. Postal Service's Priority Mail. This can take anywhere from one to eight weeks. We have no way to speed up delivery time. You will be billed actual shipping charges plus any insurance fees. The U.S. postal Service has no way of tracking military orders so we can not guarantee delivery time.
Please note that we process your order as soon as it is received. After you have placed your order, it is very difficult to change it. Please review your order before you submit it for processing. If you have to make a change to an order that has been submitted for processing, call 1-866-374-9756 as soon as possible.
Tracking Your Order: As soon as your order is shipped, we will send you a separate shipment notification via email containing your USPS tracking number. You can also track your package after your tracking number is received by going to www.usps.com.
Shipping costs to Canada range from $20.00 to $30.00 for 4 to 10 lbs. If the shipping cost is more, we will contact you. Canadian Customs requires extra documents and we cannot guarantee any shipping times. Please check with Canadian Customs.
International Orders: Items which are available for international shipping may be subject to additional shipping charges beyond what is quoted on the website. After paying for your order, you will be notified if additional charges apply and will be sent a PayPal invoice for the remainder of the balance. Rates vary depending on weight. Please feel free to email us and request a quote. Customers take all responsibility for the cost incurred in delivery including freight, insurance, duties and any other fees that may apply. Do not order items that are illegal to import to your country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office. If a package is seized by Customs for any reason and we do not receive it back, we will not issue you a refund. If the product is returned to us in perfect condition after being seized by customs, we will credit you the cost of the product less a 25% re-stocking fee. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Note: We cannot ship to all countries.

Shipping labels are created using information you provide, so please be sure to provide accurate information. We charge a fee of $10.00 for shipments that are incorrectly addressed due to customer error and have to be re-routed back to us. If you elect to cancel your order after it is shipped and it is returned to us intact, you will be charged a 10% re-stocking fee and shipping charges will not be refunded. If the package is lost because of an incorrect address due to customer error, Vashon Organics is not responsible. All shipments have a tracking number and we use that in determining whether or not a package was delivered. When you place an order with us you agree to use the tracking number as a final determination of delivery. If the tracking number shows that the package was not delivered to you, then it is our responsibility to send a replacement. If the tracking number shows that it was delivered to you, we will not be liable. Please remember that it is up to the delivery driver to leave your package without a signature.
Backorders: We regularly stock every item that we offer and we make every attempt to maintain our inventory. Occasionally we may run out of an ordered product. If this happens, we will email you to give you the choice of canceling the out-of-stock items or asking us to hold the shipment until your entire order is available.
If merchandise arrives damaged or if an error occurs on your order, you must report the damage or error to us within 24 hours. Keep all shipping and packaging materials because we may have to call the shipping company for a visual inspection. We can then issue you a credit for the amount of any confirmed damage or send you a replacement.
You must contact us for a return authorization number prior to returning any products. Merchandise must be returned at your expense and products must be unopened and in perfect condition to receive credit. The return authorization number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package. A full credit will be issued for unopened products that are returned within 15 days of your receipt of shipment. A 25% restocking fee will be charged for products returned after 15 days. No returns after 30 days.
No credit is allowed for returns on products that must be kept in conditions less than 86°F but which show heat damage upon return. During the hot summer months or anytime the temperature is above 70 degrees we recommend you select the Next Day Air or 2nd Day option. You are responsible for choosing the appropriate shipping method. Please remember that if you are not home for delivery, leave instructions for the carrier to leave your package(s) in a cool area, or at a neighbor's house. You do not want your package(s) sitting in extreme temperatures over a weekend.
