The organic movement is about sustainability and organic beauty products are no exception. Sustainable beauty starts with what you put into your body, from healthy food to healthy attitudes to minimizing toxic chemical exposure by carefully selecting your skin care products. Organic products are made from organic ingredients such as plant, fruit or flower essences, which were grown without pesticides, without antibiotics or hormones, and were not tested on animals. By purchasing organic you reduce your environmental impact and you contribute your economic support to the growing movement of green business.
We believe that make-up should enhance your natural beauty, not conceal it or overshadow it. Products should nourish, protect and sustain the beautiful tones of your skin. Make-up should be holistic, in that it is an outer expression of your inner spirit, of your values, sensuality, playfulness, creativity, competence, adventure, illumination and mystery. Your make-up may change with the seasons, with the time of day, with your environment, or with your mood. When you make transformations and begin new chapters in life, it is satisfying to look in the mirror and see a reflection of these transformations, inner and outer. What are you expressing today?
Warm and cool are also important concepts when picking which colors of blush, lipstick, or eye-shadow will make your skin glow with that new spring look. That’s why we’ve included this fun little quiz below to help answer some of your questions.
Do you know whether your color-tone is best described as “warm” or “cool”? Do you ever wish you knew which colors would magnify your natural radiance? Are you feeling playful or curious?
